Horizon was established in 1996 by Tim & Xenia Stevenson. The dream started in their home with their family meeting around the coffee table. From there God faithfully began to add people.
After a month they had to move out of their home to a local kindergarten. As the church continued to grow they met in various schools until they miraculously managed to secure the last block of land available in Ellerslie.
Construction of the church building was completed in 2004 and Horizon has met there ever since!
God has blessed the work to a point where we now have a wonderful large family who are hungry and thirsty to encounter the King.
